Project: Day of the Dead Party Poster
Individual skeleton keychains were posed and photographed for this loco fiesta poster.
Client: St. Joe / Annika Foundation
Project: Event Poster
Herbert Matter's dynamic use of image and typography was the inspiration for this poster, allowing both the iconic figure and beautiful golf course to be shown. Unbeknownst to Annika and the general public, her photo received a successful head transplant operation.
Client: Seaside
Project: 4th of July Poster
Doing event posters for Seaside is always fun, but we especially liked the classic Americana imagery of the bomb pop, not to mention its loose representation of "the rocket's red glare."
Client: Seaside
Project: Seeing Red Wine Festival Poster
We made an actual fish print of a local Red Fish for this poster illustration and used it in a loosely drawn bottle – makes sense doesn't it?
Client: Seaside
Project: Seaside Jazz Festival Poster
1940's comic book covers were the inspiration for this poster illustration (for some reason they always have a robot and a natural disaster happening). In an eerie coincidence, after the posters were printed and hung, Hurricane Opal hit Seaside's shores on October 4th mirroring the poster's image of the waves crashing through the town. Creepy, but we still love the poster.
Client: Bud & Alley's Pizza Bar
Project: Poster/t-shirt
Inspired by vintage Italian travel posters, our pizza goddess stands over the crowded beach. The Illustration shows landmarks from the coastal town of Seaside, Florida, were the restaurant is located.
Client: Seaside Repertory Theatre
Project: 2011 Summer Childrens Theatre Poster Series
Illustrated in a Tokyo Pop cartoon style, these whimsical posters became such a hit that they were sold on t-shirts.2
Client: Seaside
Project: 2009 Seaside Farmers Market Poster Series
Exaggerated halftone patterns unlayed with gradated tones allowed the featured fruit/veggie to be simple yet interesting.
Client: Seaside
Project: 2010 Seaside Farmers Market Poster Series
The client requested to use all three of the sample design styles initially shown, so alternately used were vegetable charicatures, stylized shapes used with patterns, and conjoined objects. Oddly enough they all tied together with the taglines, "interesting characters," "local varieties," and "unusual combinations" – all things that can be found at the Farmers Market.
Client: Seaside
Project: 2011 Seaside Farmers Market Poster Series
For 2011, we challenged ourselves to uses a seasonal market product beginning with the same letter as the month (J-Jam-January). We knew this might be tough, so to compensate, we allowed the typography and imagery to be playful.

Client: Emerald Glenn
Project: Print ad
For this equestrian community's ad, we used emotional photography, minimal copy on a contrasting page and rich leather textures.
Client: Bud & Alley's Restaurant
Project: Wine Makers Dinner print ad
Bud & Alley's Annual Wine Makers Dinner happened to be scheduled during the economic decline of 2008 and an election year. Rather than quietly promote the dinner during tough times, we went the opposite route and had fun with it. We Photoshopped pictures from the Great Depression (changing it to the Great Wine Depression) and wrote witty fake newspaper copy for all of the advertising and menu.
